   2. Life span The average lifespan of a guinea pig is 5-7 years. That means when you adopt a guinea pig, you have to consider a few questions.  Where will you be in 7 years?  Do you have other pets? Are you going to be moving in with someone? If  so, are they allergic to hay or guinea pigs? Do you have enough room? What are your answers to those questions? You should really consider those questions. 

 Where to get a guinea pig? When looking for any pet really is “ do I want and/or support what this company or breeder is putting this money to”. For instance, when buying from a pet shop, you are, 1, buying a pet from when they are in high demand, a rodent mill will breed and breed rodents until the order is fulfilled. Go to the YouTube channel “Victoria Rachael”. She has some great videos on this topic. So, do you really want to support that? It’s better to look into adoption or a breeder.
